About

Hey, I’m Bob — welcome to Forged By Bob.

I’m a lifelong learner, maker, and proud Midwest geek who’s always chasing the next idea. I like asking questions — real ones. Kind of like that moment in Pete & Pete when Ellen stops Algebra class and asks “why?” — not just “y.” That’s always stuck with me. It’s not just about finding answers — it’s about understanding how and why things work (and sometimes how to make them better).

Whether it’s 3D printing, coding, designing, or wiring systems together, I’m all about making things that work smarter (and maybe even hit 88 miles per hour once in a while). Sometimes the builds are messy. Sometimes the code just needs to be turned off and back on again (thanks, IT Crowd). And sometimes, you realize life really is just a series of 1s and 0s — mostly 1s if you’re doing it right.

I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, ride a roller coaster, or dive headfirst into something new if it means learning something along the way. You don’t get anywhere standing still — sometimes you’ve got to punch it to 88 and see where the road takes you.

Around here, it’s not about being perfect — it’s about showing up, asking better questions, and forging something real one project at a time. When I’m not building or fixing something, you’ll find me walking my dogs, sketching out the next big idea, or just enjoying the slow, steady pace of Midwest life.

Thanks for stopping by. Let’s build something great — where we’re going, we don’t need roads (but we do need reliable Wi-Fi and the occasional binary joke).
